Why I will never be financially wealthy.
...because of all the "things" in my grandmothers house, the crystal, the silver, the art...all I really want is her rocking chair.

Realizing that may just be a way of seeing true to what riches that really matters to you.
Its not a new realization. I think the greater surprise to me is that no one else wanted it.
For me I usually realize important things in stages. Perhaps it's because I'm a little slow. ;) Great then, that you got the rocking chair that you wanted from the household.
:-) Somehow, I doubt that you are particularly slow, its just that I've been through many of these stages over the last few years. That's why I used the phrase "financially wealthy" I'm self aware enough to know of the great wealth I can call on in the non-financial catagories.
